The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the night enshrouding 1 By the Day as it appears in glory; 2 and by that (Power) which created the male and female, 3 That your endeavour is for different ends. 4 As for him who gave out his wealth (for Allah's sake) and abstained (from disobeying Him), 5 for those who spend for the cause of God, 6 So We will very soon provide him ease. 7 But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient, 8 and rejects what is right, 9 We shall surely ease for him the Path of Hardship (the Fire). 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 BEHOLD, it is indeed for Us to grace [you] with guidance; 12 and to Us belong the Last and the First. 13 Now I have warned you of a Fire that flames, 14 None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one. 15 who rejected the Truth, calling it falsehood and turned his back on it. 16 and from which the most godfearing shall be removed, 17 one who gives his wealth to become purified, 18 And no one has done a favour to him, for which he should be compensated. 19 acting only for the sake of his Lord the Most High -- 20 and before long he will be well satisfied. 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
