The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
