The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
