Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Indeed you will come to know soon. 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 You will surely see the Hellfire. 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
