Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Destroyed were the hands of Abu Lahab, and he lay utterly doomed. 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 he shall roast at a Flaming Fire, 3 And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. 4 [who bears] around her neck a rope of twisted strands! 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
