Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Qaf. [These letters (Qaf, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the Glorious Quran. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know very well what the earth takes away from them: We hold a book which records all things. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Did We fail in the first creation? But they are in confusion over a new creation. 15
