Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
