Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The day We shall usher the righteous before Ar-Rahman like envoys into the presence of a king, 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
