▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 47 full of various trees. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 51 In both of them, there will be two kinds of every fruit. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 As though rubies and pearls. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Could the reward of good be aught but good? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 The greenest of green pastures. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In both gardens there will be fruits, palm-trees, and pomegranates 68 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
