۞ God says: "Do not take to two gods, for there is only one God. So fear Me." 51 And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear? 52 And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help. 53 yet as soon as He has removed the harm from you, lo! some of you [begin to] ascribe to other powers a share 'in their Sustainer's divinity 54 So they will deny what We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know. 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have provided them unto what they know not (false deities). By Allah, you shall certainly be questioned about (all) that you used to fabricate. 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 When the birth of a girl is announced to any of them, his face darkens and he is filled with gloom. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with dishonour or bury her in the earth? Certainly, evil is their decision. 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
