And [mention] when your Lord called Moses, [saying], "Go to the wrongdoing people - 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: 12 I feel nervous and my tongue is not fluent, so send Aaron with me. 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 Said He: "Not so, indeed! Go forth, then, both of you, with Our messages: verily, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]! 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 (Firon) said: Did we not bring you up as a child among us, and you tarried among us for (many) years of your life? 18 Yet you were ungrateful and have done the deed you did' 19 Said Moosa, “I did that at a time when I was unaware of the consequences.” (In anger – See verse 28:15) 20 so I fled from you, fearing you. But my Lord gave me Judgment and made me one of the Envoys. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Pharaoh said, 'And what is the Lord of all Being?' 23 Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe." 24 (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Did ye not listen (to what he says)?" 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 [Moses] said, "Lord of the east and the west and that between them, if you were to reason." 28 Said [Pharaoh]: "Indeed, if thou choose to worship any deity other than me, I shall most certainly throw thee into prison! 29 Said Moosa, “Even if I bring to you something clear?” 30 (Pharaoh) said: "Show it then, if thou tellest the truth!" 31 So Moosa put down his staff and it became a visible serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it was white to the beholders. 33
