The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The (Day) of Noise and Clamour: 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains shall become as wool carded, 5 Then he whose scales weigh heavier 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A fire hotly burning! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
