It is God who has given you the night in which to rest and the day in which to see. God is truly bountiful to people, but most people do not give thanks. 61 Such is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things; there is no God except Him; so where are you reverting? 62 Only they are turned away thus who deny the signs of God. 63 Allah is He Who made the earth a resting-place for you and the heaven a canopy, and He formed you, then made goodly your forms, and He provided you with goodly things; that is Allah, your Lord; blessed then is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 64 He is the Living One. There is no Allah save Him. So pray unto Him, making religion pure for Him (only). Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds! 65 ۞ Say (O Muhammad): I am forbidden to worship those unto whom ye cry beside Allah since there have come unto me clear proofs from my Lord, and I am commanded to surrender to the Lord of the Worlds. 66 He it is Who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clot; then He brings you out as an infant, then causes you to grow into full maturity, and then causes you to grow further so that you may reach old age, while some of you He recalls earlier. All this is in order that you may reach an appointed term and that you may understand (the Truth). 67 He it is who gives life and causes death; and when He decrees a matter, He but says to it, "Be," and it is. 68
