Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" 30 Tell them: "Keep on expecting, I am expecting with you." 31 Enjoin them their understandings to this? or are they a people conumacious? 32 Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe! 33 But then, [if they deem it the work of a mere mortal,] let them produce another discourse like it - if what they say be true! 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They have no faith. 36 Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)? 37 Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority. 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or is it that you ask of them any recompense so that they should fear to be weighed down under the burden of debt? 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Or are they planning a conspiracy? So the conspiracy will befall only upon the disbelievers. 42 Or, do they have a god, other than Allah? Exaltations to Allah above that which they associate! 43 Even if they were to see a part of the heavens falling down upon them, they would say, "It is only dense cloud". 44 So leave them alone until they encounter that Day of theirs, wherein they shall (perforce) swoon (with terror),- 45 when their stratagem shall be of no avail to them, nor shall they be succoured. 46 And indeed for the unjust is another punishment before this, but most of them do not know. (Punishment in the grave is proven by this verse.) 47 Be patient, then, (O Prophet), until the judgement of your Lord comes. For surely you are before Our eyes. And celebrate the praise of your Lord when you rise, 48 and exalt Him in the night and at the declining of the stars. 49
