The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I swear by the night when it draws a veil, 1 by the day when it appears radiant, 2 And by Who created the male and female, 3 Lo! your effort is dispersed (toward divers ends). 4 We shall facilitate the path to bliss 5 And believes in Al-Husna. 6 We shall surely ease him to the Easing. 7 But as for one who is miserly and unheeding, 8 and rejects what is right, 9 We shall pave his way to hardship, 10 When he falls (into Hell), his wealth will not help him. 11 It is indeed for Us to show the way, 12 And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]. 13 I have now warned you of a Blazing Fire, 14 none shall enter it but the most wicked, 15 Who denies and turns away. 16 But the righteous one will avoid it - 17 He who gives his wealth to be purified, 18 And is under no one's obligation to return his favour, 19 Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High. 20 He will surely be well-pleased (with him). 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
