[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
