The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: shall We believe in thee when the meanest follow thee? 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
