Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
