The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of the night when it covers 1 And the day when it shines in brightness, 2 And by oath of the One Who created the male and the female. 3 That your endeavour is for different ends. 4 As for him who gave out his wealth (for Allah's sake) and abstained (from disobeying Him), 5 And believeth in goodness; 6 We will pave his way to ease. 7 But he who does not give and is unconcerned, 8 And who belieth the Good, 9 We will ease him toward difficulty. 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 Surely upon Us rests the guidance, 12 And indeed, to Us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]. 13 I have warned you about the fierce blazing fire 14 in which no one will suffer forever except the wicked ones 15 Who give the lie to Truth and turn their backs. 16 The pious ones will be safe from this fire 17 the Godfearing who spends his wealth to purify himself; 18 and confers no favour on any man for recompense, 19 He desires only to please his Lord, the Supreme. 20 And he is going to be satisfied. 21
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
