Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an, 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 Why - [how could we be resurrected] after we have died and become mere dust? Such a return seems far-fetched indeed!" 3 We know what the earth diminishes of them; with Us is a book recording. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Have they not seen how We have established the sky above them and decked it without gaps and cracks? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 The people of Noah, Ar-Rass and Thamud denied before you, 12 and Ad and Pharaoh, the brothers of Lot, 13 dwellers of the forest, and the people of Tubba had all rejected the Prophets. Thus, they became subject to Our torment. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
