The human says: 'What, when I am dead, shall I be raised to life?' 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We shall assemble them and the devils – all of them – and bring them around hell, fallen on their knees. 68 Then We will most certainly draw forth from every sect of them him who is most exorbitantly rebellious against the Beneficent Allah. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 God increases His guidance to those who follow guidance; and lasting good works are better in the sight of your Lord and are most rewarding. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he the knowledge of the unseen or has the Beneficent God established such a binding agreement with Him? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 All that he claims will revert to Us, and he will come before Us all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
