Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
YaSeen. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement; so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
