▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 jinn and mankindîwhich of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 67 In both of them there will be fruit trees and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.
