We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
