The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 has taught the Koran. 2 He has created man: 3 He has imparted unto him articulate thought and speech. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 And the herbs and the trees do obeisance. 6 And the skies has He raised high, and has devised [for all things] a measure, 7 that you may not transgress in the balance, 8 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. 9 And He appointed the earth for the creatures. 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 And grain having husks and scented plants. 12 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 13 He has created man from dry, rotten clay like the potter's, 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 18 He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet. 19 between them a barrier they do not overpass. 20 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 21 Pearls and coral-stone come forth from them. 22 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 23 His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. 24 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
