Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I have received the divine revelation that some jinns attentively listened to my recitation, so they said, ‘We have heard a unique Qur’an.’ 1 that guides to the Right Path. We believe in it and we will not associate anyone with our Lord. 2 and exalted is the majesty of our Lord, He has taken neither a wife nor a son. 3 'There were some foolish ones among us, who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah; 4 and that “we had thought that men and jinn would never speak a lie about Allah”, 5 "Certain human beings sought refuge with certain jinn and this increased the rebelliousness of those jinn. 6 ‘And that they assumed, like you humans assume, that Allah would not send any Noble Messenger.’ 7 'And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. 8 We would sit there on seats to hear; but any listening now finds a meteor in wait for him. 9 and that “we do not know whether evil is intended for those on the earth, or whether their Lord intends to direct them to the Right Way”; 10 ‘And among us some are virtuous and some are the other type; we are split into several branches.’ 11 We knew that we could never challenge God whether we stayed on earth or fled elsewhere. 12 And when we heard the Message of guidance, we believed therein; and whosoever believeth in his Lord, he shall fear neither diminution nor wrong. 13 And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course. 14 And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell. 15 And had they kept to the path surely We would have watered them with rain plenteous. 16 that We might try them therein. And whosoever turns away from the Remembrance of his Lord, He will thrust him into chastisement rigorous. 17 And the prostrations are for Allah; wherefore call not along with Allah anyone. 18 And that when the servant of Allah stood up calling upon Him, they wellnigh crowded him (to death). 19
