Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Even thus shall We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known term? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
