The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
