The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the forenoon (after sun-rise); 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 And find you lost (that is, unrecognized by men) and guide (them to you)? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
