The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day will she declare her tidings: 4 having been inspired by your Lord. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 And whoso doeth ill an atom's weight will see it then. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
