The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
