And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 God will say, "Do not quarrel in My presence. I gave you the warning beforehand 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
