The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Woe to every slanderer and backbiter 1 who amasses wealth and counts it, 2 He thinks that his wealth will immortalise him forever. 3 No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire kindled by Allah, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 covered down upon them, 8 in outstretched columns. 9

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
