۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 and do you make it your living to cry lies? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
