Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not urge (others) to feed the poor. 3 Woe to those who pray, 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 who show off, 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
