(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand me my breast; 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 so that they may understand me. 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Haroun, my brother, 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 and let him share my task, 32 that we may abundantly extol Your glory; 33 and remember You abundantly. 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 when thy sister went out, saying, "Shall I point you to one to have charge of him?" So We returned thee to thy mother that she might rejoice, and not sorrow. Then thou slewest; a living soul, and We delivered thee out of grief, and We tried thee with many trials. Many years among the people of Midian thou didst sojourn, then camest hither, Moses, according to a decree. 40 I have chosen you for My service. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 And speak unto him a gentle word, that peradventure he may heed or fear. 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 Musa said: the knowledge thereof is with my Lord in the Book; my Lord erreth not, nor He forgetteth. 52 "He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
