Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
[O MEN! Pay heed to God's messages,] for it is He who has endowed you with hearing, and sight, and minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful! 78 And it is He Who has created you on the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered back. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 But they say the same as the ancients said, 81 "When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be raised up again? 82 Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime; this is naught but stories of those of old. 83 Say O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “To Whom does the earth and all that is in it belong to, if you know?” 84 They will say, God's.' Say: 'Will you not then remember?' 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?' 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 Aye! We have brought them the truth and verily they are the liars. 90 Allah hath not chosen any son, nor is there any god along with Him; else would each god have assuredly championed that which he created, and some of them would assuredly have overcome others. Glorified be Allah above all that they allege. 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
