۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Fir'aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
