3/4 Hizb 37

۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We commanded Moses: "Smite the sea with your staff." And it parted, and every parting was like a lofty mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
