And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 192 trustworthy divine inspiration has alighted with it from on high 193 to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah), 194 in clear Arabic speech. 195 And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the scriptures of former peoples. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like 'Abdullah bin Salam who embraced Islam) of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty. 200 they will not believe in it until they see the grievous punishment. 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 What! do they still seek to hasten on Our punishment? 204 What thinkest thou? If We give them enjoyment of days for many years, 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them. 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 as a reminder from Us: We are never unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 They have been precluded from hearing it. 212 So call not upon another god with Allah, lest you be of those who are punished. 213 Warn your nearest kinsmen, 214 And spread your wing of mercy for the believers following you. 215 If they do not obey you, tell them: "I am not responsible for what you do." 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 who sees you when you stand 218 or move during your prostration with the worshippers. 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, 222 The devils convey upon them what they heard, but most of them are liars. 223 Only the erring people follow the poets. 224 Observest thou not, that they wander about every vale. 225 And they speak what they do not do? 226 except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach. 227

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
