And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 (Muhammad), do not be grieved (about their disbelief) nor distressed about their evil plans against you. 70 They also say: "Tell us when this threat will come to pass, if you are truthful." 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely your Lord in His wisdom will decide between them. He is all-mighty and all-knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
