Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 from Pharaoh; surely he was a high One, of the prodigals; 31 And We chose them aforetime above the nations, knowingly, 32 and gave them signs wherein there was a manifest trial. 33 Yet those who deny the truth say, 34 There is naught but our first death and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better, or the folk of Tubb'a and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is in-between the twain sporting. 38 We have created them for a genuine purpose, but most people do not know. 39 Indeed the Day of Decision is the appointment for all of them. 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Save those on whom Allah shall have mercy; surely He is the Mighty the Merciful. 42
