Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So by oath of the things you see. 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran). [Tafsir At-Tabari, Vol. 29, Page 68] 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 yet it is a certain truth. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
