Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
But what is the matter with the unbelievers, that they strain their glances continuously towards them, 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 Never! We have indeed created them from a thing they know. 39 Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly- 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 Therefore leave them alone to go on with the false discourses and to sport until they come face to face with that day of theirs with which they are threatened; 42 The Day whereon they shall come forth from the sepulchres hastily, as though they were to an altar hurrying. 43 Eyes lowered, shame attending. That is the day they have been promised! 44
