(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
