Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble recorders, 11 They know all that you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
