The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
