The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
