The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
