The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall have a blissful life; 7 whereas he whose weight is light in the balance 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A burning fire. 11
